What Happens Next

  1. We Review Your Gathering
    We’ll review your date, guest count, location, and what you have in mind. If the date is available and the gathering is a good fit, we’ll reach out to talk through the details.

  2. We Build the Menu
    Together, we’ll settle on a menu and quantities appropriate for your gathering. Once everything is agreed upon, you’ll receive a straightforward quote covering the food and any applicable delivery costs.

  3. You Reserve the Date
    Your date is reserved once the quote is accepted and the required deposit is received. From there, we handle the cooking and coordinate delivery so everything is prepared for your gathering.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

  • Every gathering is quoted individually based on menu selections, quantities, and delivery. As a general planning guide, most gatherings fall between $45–$75 per guest. Simpler menus featuring proteins such as pulled pork typically fall toward the lower end, while premium proteins and Celebration & Holiday selections may fall above the range.

  • Fogline cooks specifically for each gathering, so advance notice matters. We recommend reaching out at least two weeks before your event. Shorter-notice requests may be possible depending on availability.

  • A 50% deposit reserves your date. The remaining balance is due before delivery. Quotes are based on current ingredient costs and remain valid for seven days.

  • Menus and quantities are finalized seven days before delivery. Changes after that point may not be possible and may result in additional charges. Cancellations made 15 or more days before delivery receive a deposit refund less a 10% booking fee. Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days, and orders are non-refundable within seven days of delivery.

  • Fogline delivers throughout Oak Park, nearby Chicago neighborhoods, and surrounding communities. Delivery availability and any associated cost are included in your quote. A mutually agreed meeting location may also be arranged.

  • Some items are intentionally packaged for reheating or finishing at home so they're at their best when you're ready to eat. Simple reheating and serving instructions are provided when needed. After delivery or handoff, proper food storage, holding, reheating, and service become the customer's responsibility.

  • We're happy to discuss ingredients and dietary concerns before your menu is finalized. Fogline uses common allergens including dairy, wheat, eggs, and nuts and cannot guarantee an allergen-free preparation environment.

  • Fogline prepares, packages, and delivers food for your gathering. We do not currently provide on-site staffing, table service, event setup, rentals, or cleanup.
